About the Event
The Annual Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival in downtown Bethany Beach will be held on September 12, 2026 from 10 am – 5 pm. The popular one-day show features jewelry, glass, pottery, watercolor and oil paintings, photography, woodworking, and much more!
In the event that inclement weather is forecasted that poses a threat to public safety, the festival has a rain date scheduled on Sunday, September 13, 2026. All announcements regarding the show date will be made on this website and the official event Instagram and Facebook pages..
Artist Information
Artist applications are open until April 30, 2026. For questions regarding your application, contact Juried Arts Services at support@jurying.net.
Silent Auction
The annual event serves as a fundraiser for the arts programs at five local schools. The silent auction is comprised of pieces donated by participating artists, and is hosted on the Bethany Beach Bandstand from 10 am – 2 pm.
Meet the Artists of Gallery One Reception
Hosted at Gallery One on Friday, September 11th, this event features the partners of Gallery One Studio in Ocean View. It’s a perfect way to kick off a weekend for art enthusiasts. Mingle with the artists, enjoy lite fare by Taste Events and wine tastings from Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery. This event is RSVP only with a limited number of guests. All registered guests are entered into winning a raffle prize which includes an original piece and a $300 gift card. RSVP here.

Rain Date and Weather
The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce will notify all artists no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11th. Artists will be notified via email. The Chamber will post all announcements regarding the Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival homepage and on the official Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival social media accounts. Artists who cannot attend the rain date will not be issued refunds. If the Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival is postponed to the rain date of Sunday, September 13th:
- The show hours will remain the same, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
- Set up and check in will still follow the Saturday schedule (schedule noted on previous page)
- Artists must be present at the show. No stand-ins or artist’s representatives are permitted.
If the event is cancelled completely by the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce for any reason all participating artists will be issued a 100% refund of their booth fee or the option to defer their booth payment to the 2027 show. Artists will not be reimbursed for any other incurred expenses (e.g. accommodations, travel expenses, tent rentals, advertising, etc.
